Malt Beer is a beverage made from malted barley syrup water and sugar. It is very popular in Israel where it is called black beer.
The Characteristics of good beer depend upon following characteristics:
a) Flavour
b) Appreance
c) Wholesomeness
Malt directly influences the taste of beer i.e sweet & sour. Sweet tastes means sugar, which mostly comes through malt starch.Sour taste means some organic acid produced from germanting grains. Sour taste also has origin from phosphoric acid.
